Citizen Journalism

Our idea is a home for citizen journalism which allows anyone to contribute to issues of the moment. In addition, social media such as twitter, Facebook and YouTube allow issues to be explored in real time. An example is a dedicated page for the current Syria conflict. Citizens involved in the conflict are able to write accounts of their experiences and add video and pictures. This is the future of news, micro local issues explored by citizens of the world using the power of words, photos and video.
